Welcome to our humble abode! You will have your own room and bath with a semi-private home entrance. New AC installed in summer 2025. As the upstairs of our home is reserved solely for guests, it has a very private feel. We're minutes from Sullivan's Island tucked away in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and just a few miles from downtown. The space is a private room over our garage with an attached bathroom and has a semi-private entrance. You will enter through our garage into our laundry room and the door to upstairs is in the laundry room. The head clearance is low in spots, so if you're over 6', watch your noggin at times! The room has a queen sized bed, a desk, a mini fridge, and microwave for use. There is a smart Roku TV with Netflix and ability for you to stream or login to apps as you like. We have a newly installed mini split AC unit to keep you comfortable year-round. The room has a Keurig coffee machine for your use. Walkable places: - Starbucks - 10min walk - 0.4mi - Queensborough Shopping Center - ~15min - 0.8mi - Locals Sushi & Taco (1/2 price sushi Mondays) - Publix grocery store - Paisano's Pizza - Hachiya Ramen - Chick-fil-A

Bruce & Dakota were the best host I ever had on this platform! Great deal and private space where I felt comfortable and relaxed coming back from my travel job. This is our second time staying at Bruce and Dakota's. We had an amazing time. They are great hosts and their place is super easy to navigate. It’s very clean, organized, and spacious. Close to the beach and downtown Charleston. We will definitely be back!

You can tell the host is a realestate agent because every thing in the stay is thought out and was given careful consideration of what a guest could need. It has the right amount of privacy but they are also friendly and helpful when you cross their paths. All amenities are provided for and we went there during a hot summer week and wanted to check in a little early and they did not skip a beat and let us check in early. All in all a fantastic place. Worth the price and a wonderful stay. I also met one of the host while driving out and he have us some awesome recomendations

Very clean & centrally located. The hosts were very informative and friendly. I especially appreciated having a bathtub & not just a shower. The room was large enough with a private entrance. It is exactly as described & what the photos show. We really enjoyed our stay & highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

I was in town for a wedding, and had a wonderful stay at Bruce and Dakota's place! Even though the room is part of their house (above the garage), it felt very private, the entrance through the garage/laundry room was separate and worked well, so I never felt like I was encroaching on their family or their space. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet, and the room was very comfortable. I would highly recommend Bruce and Dakota's!
